Being a Lean Co-ordinator or Lean Manager can be an exciting job, but is often also difficult and frustrating Lean Coordinators  faces many dilemmas in successfully achieving change from within an organisation. The ability to influence, teach, implement, and be patient are critical.  The pace of change often requires balancing the need to be patient with the risk being a maverick without people on board.  The lean coordinator needs external knowledge of good practice to guide the selection of tools.  Leadership potential and the wisdom and acumen of the Lean Coordinator is critical, which means successful lean co-ordinators often become Senior Managers.

Anthony has a deep understanding of lean thinking and an ability to explain and apply the concepts in many different processes. Anthony joined TXM in 2007 with an impressive record of lean manufacturing experience in a range of industries including food, automotive, minerals processing and transactional processes. As an Engineer at the Ford Motor Company, Anthony was  selected for lean training from Mazda and Toyota Japanese Sensei and won Ford Presidents award for his line layout project. From Ford, Anthony moved to Lean Manager roles in Aristocrat Leisure and Arnotts (Campbells). Anthony then moved to consulting and has worked with companies including Nike, Siemens, Hertz, Kimberley Clark, AstraZeneca to achieve lean transformation around the Asia Pacific. Anthony is an overseas key speaker at the LEC Conference.
